What kind of company is Misooda?

MISOODA is a medical tourism company certified by the Korean Government.
The company is formally registered with the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (license number: A2014-01-01-1414), and is a medical tourism partner in Seoul and a medical tourism partner in Gangnam-gu. In the event of a medical accident and you were to choose a illegal agent who is not registered with the Korean government, you will not be eligible for any compensation.

In addition, by dealing directly with the hospitals, the customer's position is compromised as hospitals are not inclined to side with the customers. Hence, when medical accidents occur after surgery, clinics tend to not provide complicated assistance such as medical intervention.

How are partner hospitals selected?

Certified hospital's ability to host foreign patients -> Confirmation of the hospital certification with the Korea Institute of Health Industry and passing of MISOODA's internal checklist (Hospital passing rate of about 40-50%)

In the event of unfair practices by our partner hospitals, the hospital will be disqualified as our partner. In case of customer complaints, MISOODA operates on a 3-out warning system.
Despite the rigorous and demanding procedures, MISOODA works only with partners who are committed to making the Korean plastic surgery environment transparent and to providing friendly service for our customers.

What are the reasons for the price adjustment?

In addition to the information provided by the customer, most hospitals require price adjustments for reasons such as changing of complexity of the surgery, changing of doctor, changing of surgical method, 2 times or more revisions, changing of implant, etc.
